Appearance: Karin has vibrant red hair and eyes that stand out against her pale skin. Her hair is ragged and spiky on the right side of her head and smooth and long on the left, extending down to her waist; occasionally she draws her hair back into a ponytail, but tends to wear it loose. She wears her thick-rimmed glasses almost all the time, save for when she's trying to be seductive.

Karin's typically clad in the uniform of one of Orochimaru's subordinates: a light purple, long-sleeved jacket that reaches to her hips, but is split front and back up to her waist, revealing a bit of skin above the black shorts that she wears. She also wears a pair of thigh-high black stockings and black ninja sandals, and a grey belt and pouch around her waist.

During her time in the Akatsuki, Karin also wore a variant of the Akatsuki cloak: a hooded black cloak with red lining and trim, patterned with stylized red clouds. Later she's seen wearing a plain black cloak that is almost identical in cut when traveling.

Hidden beneath her jacket is one of Karin's most notable physical features: the numerous bite scars that are a record of the past usage of her Healing Bite ability; the marks cover her arms, neck, and upper chest.
